Cell line prize
In order to encourage and reward the development of new chordoma cell lines, the Foundation offers a $10,000 prize for each new cell line contributed to the Cell Line Repository. Additionally, a $25,000 prize will be awarded for the first two pediatric chordoma cell lines (from patients diagnosed at 14 years of age or younger). To be accepted, a cell line must meet validation criteria established by the Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board. PDX model prize
To encourage development of new patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models of chordoma, the Foundation offers a $10,000 prize for each new validated PDX model contributed to the PDX Model Repository. To be accepted, a model must meet the validation criteria established by the Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board.
