This semi-annual event aims to introduce students to careers available in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Program Structure

Our Outreach Day offers a hands-on lab designed to allow students to experience typical wet lab work, a panel of professionals that will discuss careers in STEM (including engineering, environmental science, medicine, physical therapy, & more), and a tour through some of University of Maryland, Baltimore’s cutting-edge research labs. Participants will additionally be provided with a pizza lunch that includes salad & dessert.
