A dedicated Community Advisory Board provides recommendations informing UMGCCC COE and research activities, shares insights on the local cancer burden, identifies cancer priorities for research and COE strategies, and connects UMGCCC with other community leaders and organizations to enhance COE activities. Each CAB was recruited based on their cancer-relevant stakeholder perspective. Member expertise includes cancer survivorship, counseling, public health, community health advisor, caregiving and cancer advocacy.
