Purpose

The purposes of this award program are to increase the scientific knowledge base of early-career scientists and to encourage them to pursue careers in cancer research.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be full-time graduate students, medical students, residents, or clinical or postdoctoral fellows.
  • Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Canada.
  • Candidates must be the presenters of meritorious abstracts at the AACR Annual Meeting or special conferences.
  • Candidates need not be members of the AACR to apply for this award. 
  • Candidates may apply for other travel awards but may only accept one award from the AACR to attend the Annual Meeting.
