We are most pleased to announce a new CARTI Grant Review Service which will be open to the SOM research community. This offering will include an expert, NIH-style internal grant review program designed to enhance the clarity, rigor, and overall competitiveness of faculty grant applications.
Faculty participants are expected to submit a complete draft of their application at least 7 weeks prior to the sponsor deadline. Each submission will receive detailed feedback from two faculty members who currently have active funding and extensive review experience. In addition to “in-document” comments, applicants will receive a written critique, including an NIH-style summary outlining key strengths as well as areas for improvement.
We ask that you please share this opportunity with your faculty in your department/division/center/institute/program, particularly those preparing grant submissions for Fall deadlines (October or November). To participate, faculty should submit a letter of interest using the designated form. Space is limited, thus early submission is encouraged. Key dates are provided below.
