Cancer InFocus™ is a web-based mapping and data visualization tool developed and provided by the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center. The platform is designed to make cancer-related data more accessible and actionable for cancer centers and their communities.
At the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC), Cancer In Focus is used by the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement and members of the UMGCCC to support efforts in understanding and addressing cancer disparities across our catchment area. The tool compiles publicly available data to provide interactive maps and dashboards focused on cancer incidence and mortality, risk factors, social determinants of health, and other community health indicators.
