ACS Professor Award

ACS Professor awards are primarily honorific awards for individuals who have made seminal contributions in cancer research. Applicants must have obtained the rank of full professor, and, at the time of application, applicants must have been a full professor for 5 or more years but no more than 20 years. It is expected that applicants have made and will likely continue to make, impactful contributions to change the direction of cancer research. These notable cancer research achievements could have been fundamental, preclinical, clinical, psychosocial, behavioral, health policy and/or epidemiologic in focus. Commitment and success in scientific mentoring and leadership as well as community engagement are also carefully considered.
