The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Career Development Award represents an effort to encourage and support junior faculty to conduct pancreatic cancer research and establish successful career paths in this field. The grants provide $250,000 over two years for junior investigators that have yet to secure their first major research funding. The research proposed for funding may be basic, translational, clinical or epidemiological in nature and must have direct applicability and relevance to pancreatic cancer. Special consideration will be given to understudied areas in pancreatic cancer research, minority researchers and research focused on cancer health disparities.
